Workshop on Europe Day

We shared our experience about the 3 different projects in the youth exchange. The One Church project promoted a local market and gave job opportunities to the homeless or young people who dropped out of school. The Hummingbird project raised awareness of refugees with the help of arts. The Orchard helped local people in need by creating a community garden which strengthens a sense of community and also provides them with locally grown fruit.

In the workshop we emphasized the practical side of voluntary work and discussed the secrets of team work. We also brainstormed ideas about any future possibilites to continue this project next year. Finally, we listened to Bruno Pizzini, the representative of EVS who introduced his organization, showed us a few energizers used in team building activities and shared some great voluntary work opportunities this summer and next year.
