We Came, We Saw, We Conquered?

Fall, 2010!

Basically, we rocked that town.

We could not have done it with out the basic rock-i-ness of our hip hosts. They showed us a stellar time and showed us the real Ljubljana; a mighty River Men, horse burgers, coffee, burek, coffee, bizar pantings with French captions, coffee, cokta COKTA cokta (that stuff  is basically amazing, in small doeses) The Fappers ( http://www.myspace.com/fappersthe ), basically cool ports and towns, more coffee,, the greatest slip-sliding-hand rail,  Sloven impressionists and contemporary painters – fish, cats, horses – I cannot remember his name, but I will look for it, because, basically, he rocks, Thursday roasted suckling pig – you always know it’s Thursday, sun, sea, rivers, deer, slippers – slippers rock!, apples ….

 

I do not know about you kids out there in never never land but I don’t want to grow up and I will be going back to Ljubljana! And I am defintiley going to make sure I am there on a Thursday, with a cokta in one hand and a hogs jowl in the other…

 

 

Things to look for on the next trip: horse burgers, gregajdanaja, the beachplageplazs, the list goes on. … I ill have to sit over Piran and contemplate it.
