I was born in the north east of England, where I studied at an all-boys school, before moving a little further south to study environmental conservation. Upon moving to Hungary I was able to maintain my interest in nature, and I live on the edge of the forest in Buda, and spend a lot of time there with my dog, taking pictures of mushrooms and interesting beetles.

I ended up at Poli after the school was strongly recommended to me by two ex-students, and since starting here in 2016 I have come to appreciate why they loved their time here so much. Since then I have been an English teacher at the Polytechnic.
