The third meeting of this project was off kilter in that it did not involve any students. Yes, we run these Erasmus+ projects for the kids, however, every once in a while we need to meet and work hard on the over all topic. Focusing on our work we were able to clarify how eTwinning works and show newcomers to the EU supported portal how to use it within the framework of the project. We also discussed in detail what the European Solidarity Corp is and how each of us shall apply for the Quality Label per our project grant. Getting the label will allow us to offer volunteerships to young persons from all over Europe for up to one year.
We also had presentations from Turkish NGOs on how their EVS programs work and what to go, how to do it. It was an inspirational meeting, presentation. So much so, that we went to visit the NGO head after our trip to Sinop.
A very productive trip. The entire project will benefit from this!
