Erasmus+ Way to Represent Poli

During the 2024-2025 academic year seven Poli students will be representing the school at schools in various European countries for one month each within the Erasmus+ individual mobility program, co-sponsored by the European Union.

The plan is for our students to attend schools in Germany, Italy, France and Denmark, living with local families, experience daily life. Overall improvement of Europeaness and a better understanding of the lives of their peers will work in their favor for years to come.

Those going to Italy, France and Germany have a jump start on digging into the local culture because they have been learning the languages as their second foreign language at Poli. During their exchange they will improve the languages skills and get to know tons about life in the EU, outside of Hungary. While the lone student heading to Copenhagen will have the time to scout out local universities where he plans to take part in tertiary education.

 

This type of Erasmus+ project covers travel costs, provides a stipend for the students day to day living. Each participant has a mentor at the host school and back here at Poli. The mentors help prepare them for the experience of a life time and take care of any issues that may arise in their day-to-day school life or with the host families. Erasmus+ really does take care of their participants.
