More Erasmus+ Action – Great project put on by interEST
The fine folks at inteREST put on an excellent Erasmus+ Youth Exchange during August 2024. We sent 8 young participans and 2 teachers to this project. The project was called Together in Motion and was co-funded by the European Union. There were partners from Estonia, Palestine, Spain, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Hungary.
As always, participants are expected to disseminate upon returning home. The Hungarians and Spanish went above and beyond by doing a short folk dance (twice) they learned during the Hungarian culture evening during in the Helsinki aiport on the way home. The Spanish leaders told the several hundred people waiting for the flight to Madrid about the project and why they were doing it. This was at the gate for the Madrid flight just as boarding was about to start. Even passers by stopped and looked, took pictures/video.
Back in Hungary the young participants and the group leaders gave presentations on the project to their peers. Here are the numbers of persons reached
1 presentation at general staff meeting – over 60 persons attended
4 presentations to classes – 115 persons reached
1 post on school web site
There will 2 more dissemination events at Europe Day and Open House in our school in November and December. Expected numbers are over 100 persons at each event.
I would like to thank interEST for putting on this great project and all the participants for working so hard. Participating in it and/or hearing about it at dissemination events lit the fire in our young people and our teaching staff to participate in more EU funded projects in the Erasmus+ program.
