Erasmus+ at Poli Open House 2025
Over 950 prospective students and parents attended the annual Open House at Poli on Saturday, November 29. As always during the plenary sessions school leadership mentioned how successful our Erasmus+ program is. Our Erasmus+ accredited project and our Youth Exchanges were mentioned.
We had 110 people should up during at the Erasmus+ stand to talk about our projects. Students and teachers have participated in Erasmus+ discussed their various projects, explained the differences between projects in the SCH and the YOU sectors, as well as our Jean Monnet project.
Many were very surprised that we participated in Youth Exchanges like Around the Artificial Intelligence in Poland, Future Entrepreneurs in Estonia and AI and Future Skills – Boosting Young Innovators in Lithuania. It was enthralling to see our students enthusiasm interacting with their peers, explaining how much they learned, what they experienced in these three Youth Exchanges. The parents were impressed that we let our students participate in project in such places. We explained that the entire EU is worth visiting and we want our students to garner as much information about new-to-them places. After all, we are all Europeans.
What seemed most impressive to the parents is that we always have open participant calls for all of our projects. Participation is not based on academic skills and the principal does not hand pick who should be in a project. We implement the democratic process in all aspects of our Erasmus+ program.
We passed out booklets and brochures about Jean Monnet, an EU quiz to see what our guests know about the EU and provided links to project reports on our homepage.
