Congratulations

I arrived at 8:30. The volleyball marathon already began. I had dinner for my kids. Tortillas with many fillings, beans, chicken, veggetables, salsa – all homemade. I found the my kids from Haribo to give them dinner. They were about to play a match. I told them to come and eat after the match.

It was obvious at the match that my kids understand how to play volleyball. They placed themselves well, they paid attention. Serves were not the best, however, there were a few volleys. Lots of laughing, kids smiling, angry when they messed up, “Damn, I missed the ball.” “Don’t worry, pay attention and get the next one.” Lots of  supporting each other.

Jankees finished there game and ran like banshees for a bite to eat. Not really sure what they were thinking, The food was for them and the other kids from the class, not for anybody else.

After Team Jankee ate, the other kids showed-up and ate too.

Then it was time for more volleyball.

What hat begun as a one hour visit to find out how my kids were doing turned into a long night out. It was 1:30 before I left, many good games, good times, good laughs.

Back to the marathon at 2 in the afternoon for an hour or so. Because of previous engagements I was not able to stay for the last game. I missed Mr. Vető’s winning spike. Way to go Bálint!

PS. There are many, many events that my kids can and should participate in. I really hope that the ones that have been participating so far keep up the good work and convince the rest to join you!
