CHoC + Open House = Dissemenation

November 23 brought the annual Open House at Poli, Again, as every year,  members of the Erasmus+ team, both teachers and students, were on hand to present Erasmus+ and eTw in general and CHoC in particular.

Once the parents of prospective students understood the difference between Youth Exchanges and Strategic Partneship they began to ask many, many questions about how CHoC works. Several of our student members worked wonders. They fielded the questions on what it is like to be a host, or what it is like to be a guest. They eloquently explained why being a host is the most tiring, yet most rewarding thing they have ever done in their life. While we teachers emphasized how we notice changes for the better in all students who participate in our projects.

We then went on to explain why we deigned CHoC, Why we think the history and culture of cacao is worth working on for two years. How it will help students understand very important aspect of European  history and the bloody history of chocolate and how Fair Trade is a solution to many issues in the industry.

We are looking forward to the next opportunity to disseminate.
