Poli

What is Erasmus+?

On November 19 Poli held its annual Open House where prospective parents and students come to the school and learn about what we do.

As always, I had the joy and honor to man the Erasmus+ table.

Many parents and students were very interested to hear about all the different projects we do.

We clarified the difference between KA1 and KA2 projects.

In particular we discussed DBUD as it is rare for a Youth Exchange to have two meetings. It is also rare for them to be so active and hands-on rather than classroom, theoretical  work. As the leader of this project in Saariselka, Finland and Szigetköz Hungary we could tell them everything they wanted to know.

We also talk about Blizna and other projects in Slovenia and Fighting Obesity in Croatia. These three YEs gave a great example of the varied ranges of topics covered in our projects and the locations thereof.

We obviously also talked about our Accredited projects, and many were impressed that we have projects other languages besides English. The very wide range of topics and locations we very well recieved as well.

All in all, it was a good day.
